A new milestone in the expansion of Airbus’ MRO capacity has been reached with the opening of a 5th position for A400M maintenance in Hangar D4 at the Airbus Getafe facility. This improvement allows a 25% increase in operational capacity, enabling the simultaneous support of up to five aircraft in the same hangar.
The process has been carried out in accordance with the planned schedule, guaranteeing compliance with the demanding standards of quality and precision established. Correct time management, detailed definition of the actions and rigorous execution have been key to achieving this progress, which reinforces Airbus’ capacity to meet the needs of its customers in the maintenance of the A400M.
The works continue with the fitting out of the auxiliary spaces that will allow the optimal development of the necessary tasks for each position. These complementary spaces are essential to ensure that each intervention is carried out with maximum efficiency, facilitating access to the technical and logistical resources essential for aircraft maintenance.
Savener, in charge of Construction Management, applies all its expertise in this type of work, ensuring compliance with the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The company provides all its knowledge, resources and a highly qualified team, guaranteeing that each phase of the project is executed with the precision and excellence that characterise its work.
This achievement represents a significant step in the optimisation of maintenance infrastructures, reaffirming the commitment to operational efficiency and continuous improvement in the company’s technical assistance services.
