Savener has been selected by Airbus Helicopters to develop a new strategic project at its plant in Albacete: the adaptation of the current chemical products warehouse (APQ) located in Hangar O of the Paint Hangar. This intervention will optimise the distribution of the available space and increase storage capacity, while at the same time reinforcing the safety, operational and regulatory compliance conditions of the facility.
The project covers the integral development of all the technical phases, including the drafting of the Basic and Execution Project, the Project Management, the Health and Safety Coordination and the necessary steps for its legalisation before the competent authorities.
Savener will provide its experience in advanced technical solutions for highly demanding industrial environments, applying its work methodology focused on efficiency, sustainability and safety. Key tasks include the analysis of design alternatives, compatibility studies of stored products, evaluation of containment and extinguishing systems, and design according to ATEX regulations when necessary.
In facilities where the handling of chemical substances is part of the production process, as is the case of the painting area in the Airbus Helicopters plant, the correct planning and execution of the spaces destined for their storage acquires critical relevance. The safety of people, the integrity of operations and legal compliance depend directly on a rigorous design adapted to each need.
This new project once again consolidates the partnership between Savener and Airbus, a relationship based on trust, technical capability and a shared vision for the future.
