Part of the Savener team involved in the design of the Barka 5 and Ghubrah 3 projects recently made a strategic visit to Oman, where they had the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the already operational Barka 5 plant and see first-hand the progress made in the construction of Ghubrah 3. Both facilities, the largest in the Sultanate of Oman, are landmarks in the application of efficient and sustainable solutions for water treatment and production.
In addition to the participation of technical managers from various disciplines, the delegation included the CEO of Savener, together with the General Project Manager and the Project Manager responsible for the design of both desalination plants. This high-level representation underlines the company’s firm commitment to high-impact projects and its willingness to strengthen strategic alliances in highly demanding international environments.
During the visit, technical sessions and coordination meetings were held with the GS Inima team, a key partner with whom Savener has collaborated in an exemplary manner during the design phase and with whom it continues to work closely in the current implementation stage of Ghubrah 3.
The Savener team also held meetings with the personnel responsible for the operation and maintenance of Barka 5. These meetings allowed them to identify valuable lessons learned, which were fundamental to enriching the final design phase of Ghubrah 3 and enhancing future developments. This exchange of experiences has consolidated a highly synchronised team with a reinforced capacity to tackle large-scale technological challenges, under the highest quality standards and with greater guarantees of success.
