Savener continues to consolidate its presence in the naval sector with the completion of a highly complex technical project at the facilities of Navantia, one of the most important companies in the field of shipbuilding in Spain. On this occasion, the Savener team has been in charge of the design, development and implementation of an integral solution for the improvement of the filtration system gates in the jet cabin no. 2 of the San Fernando plant, Cadiz.
This project arose from the need to improve the structural and functional operation of the original system for opening and closing the filter protection doors. Among the main drawbacks were deformations in the supports, accelerated wear of the steel cables, interference in the counterweights and opening limitations that prevented proper maintenance of the filtering system. These conditions not only hampered daily operations, but also seriously compromised operator safety.
Faced with this challenge, Savener has developed a customised solution that improves the existing installation, optimising the operation of the door opening system by means of a structural redesign that optimises load distribution and a modern, safe and efficient opening mechanism. Thanks to this action, the maintainability of the filtering system has been significantly improved, allowing faster and safer filter replacement, while ensuring compliance with the highest industrial safety standards.
This project marks an important milestone in the expansion of Savener’s expertise in the naval sector, reaffirming its capacity to provide advanced technical solutions in demanding industrial environments. The collaboration with Navantia not only represents a strategic opportunity for Savener, but also reinforces its commitment to the development of sustainable, safe solutions aligned with the real needs of its customers.
