Savener has successfully completed the foundations and adaptation of the production space for the new A380BF ADH Torsion BOX workstation at the Airbus plant located in El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz). This action is part of the strategic plan for the consolidation of the industrial activity coming from the Puerto Real plant.
The scope of the project, entirely designed and managed by Savener, has involved a deep transformation of a specific area of the N3 bay, with the aim of adapting it to the demanding technical and operational requirements of this new A380 assembly line.
Among the most relevant actions are the following:
The removal of the existing tooling
The structural modification of the foundations
The adaptation of the electrical and pneumatic installations.
Updating of the fire protection system (PCI).
In addition, the preparation of the foundations for a new bridge crane has been carried out, as well as for the tools for the assembly stands and the ADH robot, a key part of the automated assembly process.
This new step reinforces Savener’s commitment to the efficient and sustainable transformation of the aeronautical sector, providing high added value solutions in engineering, design and execution. The company thus consolidates its role as a strategic partner of Airbus in the industrial reconfiguration process of its plants in the Bay of Cadiz.
