Airbus has awarded Savener a new project for its Illescas plant (Toledo), focused on the transformation of an area of building A02—specifically in Building 12—with the main objective of creating a new industrial maintenance spare parts warehouse, thus strengthening the factory’s logistical and operational capabilities.
The area is currently used for cleaning production tools, but will be completely redesigned to house a high-performance logistics space that will allow for better organization and availability of critical materials for factory maintenance. The new warehouse will have an approximate area of 895 m² and a clear height of 11 meters, enabling highly efficient management of vertical space through the use of shelving systems adapted to operational needs.
Savener will be responsible for the comprehensive design and technical development of the project, covering disciplines such as architecture, installations, and specific equipment for industrial storage. This intervention is part of the ongoing process of modernizing and optimizing Airbus’ infrastructure, and reinforces the company’s confidence in Savener’s experience and technical capacity to transform industrial spaces into functional, efficient environments that are aligned with the demands of the aeronautical sector.
