GS Inima has awarded Savener the responsibility to carry out all civil engineering and piping for the design of a Reverse Osmosis water desalination plant with a production capacity of 318,225 m³/day of desalinated water. This plant is located in the western region of the United Arab Emirates, within the “Shuweihat Power Station” complex.
After the successful completion of the design works of the Barka V desalination plant, GS Inima, awarded by IDA as Best Desalination Company worldwide, has once again entrusted Savener’s services to carry out another of its strategic projects in the Middle East.
The project involves the detailed design of all the main buildings of the Plant; Pretreatment (DAF), Reverse Osmosis, Electrical Transformers and Remineralisation (Limestone), together with various special foundations such as the tanks for the storage of drinking water.
In addition, Savener will execute the design of a series of additional buildings such as the Flushing Tank, CIP (Cleaning in place), cartridge filters, etc.
Finally, it will carry out the Piping of the entire plant, a matter in which Savener has a highly specialised team and where the analysis of the flexibility of all the pipes and their supports will be carried out.
This project represents a new challenge and a great opportunity for our company, as it gives us the opportunity to apply the lessons learned from our previous experience in other Desalination projects, as well as the latest advances and tools developed by our Artificial Intelligence department. These advances will allow us to deliver the contracted services in record time and with high quality.
The award of this project is another testimony to the excellence that characterises the work carried out by Savener in the water sector, further consolidating our relationship with the leaders in the desalination sector and in particular with GS Inima.
